How we work as your Microsoft partner in Kenya

As a Microsoft partner in Kenya, how we work is simple: we walk with you at every step, from choosing the right plans to moving your data, securing it and helping your staff use it well. The licence is where our work together starts, not where it ends. Our aim is that you get full value from what you pay Microsoft every month.

Many Kenyan organisations buy Microsoft 365 and then use a small part of it. Email moves across, but files still travel as attachments, security features sit switched off, and Copilot licences go unused because nobody showed staff what to ask. A SACCO, a school, an NGO with field staff or a growing law firm can all end up paying for tools they never really use.

We work as a partner, not a vendor. That means we talk about your work first and products second, we show prices in KES before you call, and we stay involved after the invoice. The journey below shows what we do with you at each stage, and what you get from it.

The journey, step by step

We work with you in five stages: choose, move, secure, adopt, then optimise and renew. You can start at any of them. If you already run Microsoft 365, we often begin at secure or adopt.

1. Choose: the right plan for each person

Your worry: which plan do we need, and what will it cost? What we do: we look at the work each group of staff does and match it to a plan. Reception and field staff may only need web and mobile apps, while finance and managers who handle sensitive data may need the device and data protection in Business Premium. For larger organisations, we compare business and enterprise plans with you. Where Copilot is part of the plan, we confirm availability for your tenant and plan before you commit.

What you receive: a plan mix priced in KES from our published Microsoft 365 prices in Kenya, with licences invoiced in KES or USD by a VAT-registered Kenyan company. Prices exclude VAT.

2. Move: email and files, without losing anything

Your worry: will we lose email or files, and will staff be stuck on Monday morning? What we do: we plan the move with you and copy mail, calendars, contacts and files from Google Workspace, cPanel, GoDaddy, Zimbra, Exchange on-premises or another tenant, using BitTitan MigrationWiz. Then we switch mail over at an agreed quiet time.

What you receive: your data in your own Microsoft 365 tenant, under your own domain, and staff signed in on their laptops and phones. Read more about Microsoft 365 migration.

3. Secure: protect accounts, devices and data

Your worry: a phishing email, a stolen laptop or a deleted folder. What we do: we switch on multifactor sign-in for everyone and, on plans that include them, conditional access, Intune device policies and Microsoft Defender. Where you need more email protection, we add Mimecast. We back up Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams with Veeam, because Microsoft leaves the protection of your data to you.

What you receive: a tenant with its security settings in place, controls that help you protect personal data under the Data Protection Act 2019, and a backup you can restore from. Compliance also needs your own policies and processes. See Microsoft 365 security and Microsoft 365 backup.

4. Adopt: staff who use what you pay for

Your worry: we paid for the licences, but people still work the old way. What we do: we train staff on Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive and Copilot using their own documents and tasks. Before Copilot goes live, we check licences, sign-in, permissions and labels so it only works with what each person should see. We also roll out centrally managed email signatures and Employee Engagement 360 inside Teams.

What you receive: role-based sessions and a tenant ready for Copilot. See training and advisory and Copilot readiness.

5. Optimise and renew: keep it fitting as you grow

Your worry: are we still on the right plans a year from now? What we do: organisations change. You hire, open branches, restructure teams and try new tools. When that happens, talk to us and we help you work out what fits next.

Get more from what you already pay for

The fastest value usually comes from what your plan already includes, not from buying more. These are the four places we start.

  • Switch on the security you already have. Every Microsoft 365 plan supports multifactor sign-in. Microsoft 365 Business Premium adds Defender for Business, Intune and conditional access, which often sit unused after purchase. We set them up and test them so staff are not locked out by mistake.
  • Train staff to use the tools. Sharing a file from OneDrive instead of attaching it, taking bookings through Bookings, or running a Teams meeting with notes and tasks attached are small habits that add up. Training is how they stick.
  • Get ready for Copilot before you buy it. Copilot Chat comes at no extra cost with eligible Microsoft 365 work accounts. Paid Copilot pays off only if your data is tidy and staff know what to ask, so we prepare both first.
  • Choose the right plan with published prices. We show our prices in KES on the site, so you can compare plans for each role before you talk to us.
