Why Teams is sold separately
Microsoft Teams Enterprise is the standalone Teams licence for organisations on Microsoft 365 or Office 365 enterprise suites bought without Teams. It gives chat, calls, meetings with recordings and transcripts, and 10 GB of cloud storage per user, and it is the base for Teams Premium and Teams Phone. In Kenya we price it in KES, invoice in KES or USD, and set it up with you from Nairobi.
Microsoft sells its enterprise suites in two versions: with Teams and without. If your organisation buys E3 or E5 without Teams, Microsoft Teams Enterprise is the standalone licence that adds Teams back.
That lets you license Teams only for the staff who need it, or keep another meeting tool for some groups. We work out whether the with-Teams or no-Teams route costs less for your headcount.

Teams add-ons: Premium, Phone and Rooms
Teams Premium and Teams Phone are add-ons, so each user also needs a Teams licence, either Teams Enterprise or a suite that includes Teams. Teams Rooms Pro is priced per meeting room, not per user.

Teams Phone in Kenya
Teams Phone Standard turns Teams into your office phone system. To call ordinary landline and mobile numbers, it needs a connection to the public phone network. Microsoft offers three routes: its own Calling Plans, Operator Connect through a participating operator, or Direct Routing through your own carrier connection.
Microsoft’s Calling Plan bundles are priced for the United States and do not apply to Kenya, so we do not sell them. Instead, we advise on the Kenyan options for connecting Teams Phone to local numbers, and set up the route that fits your offices and call volumes. Teams Phone is already included in Microsoft 365 E5 with Teams.
Teams Rooms and Teams Premium
Teams Rooms Pro is licensed per room and adds a shared digital canvas, inclusive video and room layouts, remote configuration, device analytics, automated updates and IT service management integration. Teams Rooms Basic is free for up to 25 rooms with a certified Teams device, which is enough for many smaller offices.

Can you set up Teams in our meeting rooms?
Yes, we plan and set up Teams Rooms devices in your meeting rooms as part of a Teams deployment.
